The main characters are Amy and Dan. Their grandmother, Grace , died of cancer and gave them a will to have a million dollars or take a hunt for 39 clues and they also get the first clue. They chose the clues because their aunt Beatrice would keep the money to herself. The clue will be the next step to becoming the most powerful people in the world. They are competing against members of the Cahill family. There are four branches of the Cahill family: Janus, Tomas, Ekaterina and Lucian. In the first book they accept the clue and go study in Grace’s library, there they find a crest to a secret library. When they find what they are looking for, the building starts to burn. After they get out alive they see a man in black looking at them with binoculars. Then they begin the race around the world for 39 clues.--Justin
